It was 9:30 p.m., last night. My mind was racing through all the things I needed to do today like wash sheets, clean bathrooms, dust and prepare for our company who would arrive the day after. Just as I was getting ready to slip into bed, the phone rang. I was surprised my friend would be calling me so late but I'm glad I answered. She said she had just been given 4 tickets to go see Beauty and the Beast at the College of Charleston. She wanted to know if the girls and I could join her early the next morning.
I had already decided I couldn't add ANYTHING to my schedule for today because I had way more on my plate than I could resonably handle. I took five minutes to think it over and called her back to accept her invitation. So I got up at 5am this morning, got Bry off to school, got myself and the girls ready and headed downtown. After wandering downtown for a little while, we finally found our way to the Theatre. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. Elle sat through the entire thing, clapping and saying "Oooo" on the pretty parts. Delainey was a little nervous about the beast but ended up liking the whole thing very much.
So, as if I'm not far enough behind today, now I'm sitting down to blog about it! It was a great time and even though I blew off a "To-Do" list of about 30 things, I'm so thankful for the opportunity! ...Now, I'm off to work!

I'm so glad you got to do that. What a blessing! And a memory.
I don't know what my mom had on her schedule for the day, but being a working mom, I'm sure she had something. But I remember my mom taking me to a similar show when I was little. I remember it was a Sesame Street show, but I can't tell you what else. But I do remember sitting on my moms lap and loving every minute. I can guarantee the girls will feel the same way. I'm glad you and the girls had a great bonding time! (And that you shared about it! It's been awhile since your last blog!)
You are doing some cool things with your blog. I will have to try some. I am typing this on m brand new macbook. I guess working for a maga church isn't all bad.
Hey Jaime. I got your message the other day and wanted to email you. We got a new computer and I don't have your email address. I thought for sure I'd find it on here somewhere, but so far, no luck. Anyways, shoot us an email and I'll write you back regarding your message. We'd love to catch up! Also, your blog is great, I love reading it. Ok, talk to you later.
